Impact of false 498A, D.V. Act & ¾ D.P. Act and other anti male laws cases & role to play to prevent its misuse:
Victims of 498A, D.V. Act & ¾ D.P. Act and other anti male laws suffers such mental physical social and economical harassment that nobody other than victims can realizes their truth. He has made any offence or not, his guilt has been proved by a court or not, is not a criterion for his or her acceptance or rejection in the society. Our society still has strong believes that a person who has gone in judicial custody is guilty. In many case some family members and close relatives also make a distance from victims of such anti male law.
Can you imagine the life of a man without society ? Hence victims of 498A, D.V. Act & ¾ D.P. Act and other anti male laws spend their life by something managing around him in the society to be the part of society. So they sometimes wouldn’t want to publicise their victimisation through media.
Victims has only some hope from high court or supreme court to declare him or her as innocence subject to condition that the honest and intelligent people is fighting for him (which is also a very big challenge for victim) and he is capable to meet expenditure of such court and mischievous people. In the mean time blackmailers also don’t miss to harm the victims mentally and economically.
Thus the adverse impact of such cases on a victim is so high and lifelong that no victim can believe suddenly on other that he is going to help him. But one victim can disclose his fact to other victims easily.
The police system of our country plays entirely irresponsible role in such cases and don’t want to miss the chances of showing administrative power conferred to him to earn more. Such act of police system also has a very high and lifelong adverse impact on the victims of such anti male laws.
Thus his losses are so great and irreparable that he (victims) seldom wants to share his or her victimisation with others to worsen his or her life further, once he or she comes out of criminal conspiracy.
This is the very worst part of this criminal conspiracy where victims are naturally forced to be silent even if he wanted to disclose the matter to others.
Now, we have to think for its solution, because it is also required to bring forward injustice so that it could be prevented. Media should also play their role to find out solution of this problem, because the adverse impact of 498A is very high and dangerous for once life, family and for the society as well.
Sending entire family behind bar in false cases without making any enquiry by police should be a task for media to ask about accountability of the administration towards citizen of this country as soon as a 498A, D.V. Act & ¾ D.P. Act and other anti male laws case is instituted. If police system will work honestly this malicious law can be prevented from its misuse.
Judicial system should also intervene in the matter because it has the only agency where data related to misuse of the 498A, D.V. Act & ¾ D.P. Act and other anti male laws exists. Mr. V. K. Gupta, former Chief Justice of Jharkhand high Court, had intervene in the matter while hearing the appeal petition of Virendra Jha Vs State & others and made rule for the entire lower judiciary of Jharkhand to grant bail to victims in such cases in order to prevent misuse of such anti male law. Media people should also raise these concerns of victims from the judicial system.
